CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS AND MAINTENANCE FOR EPOXY STONE

We recommend vacuuming the epoxy stone every 1-2 weeks depending on the traffic on your floor. If you have pets or have heavy traffic, you can damp mop the floor as needed. A Rainbow vacuum is recommended for best results. You may use vacuums with a brush head, but do not use the beater bar on your epoxy stone
floor.

FOR SPILLS

When spills occur, simply extract the spill with a wet/dry vac. Then pour hot water onto the spill areas and vacuum it thoroughly with a wet/dry vac. If necessary, use a scrub brush to get in between the rocks. Greasy spills and dairy spills can be cleaned with ammonia water or cleaners similar to Clorox Clean Up. Always remove the cleaner with hot water and a vacuum. Never use powders or other oil-based cleaners (such are orange-oil based cleaners) on the epoxy stone floor.

STEAM CLEANING

The epoxy stone can be steam cleaned and resealed if necessary. Heavy traffic on your floor may necessitate steam cleaning periodically.

EXTERIOR FLOOR CLEANING

For maintenance, the epoxy stone can be sprayed down with a garden hose. You can also use all of the same techniques we recommend for interior floors on your exterior epoxy stone. We recommend thorough cleaning and resealing exterior applications of epoxy stone every 2-3 years for longest life.
